This shows how easy it is to use GIT on the Mac (not specific to Moodle)…

I’m all excited and want to give this a go myself. There’s a bit more work in setting up the GIT, but after that, upgrading is so very easy (I hear ^_^).

    Great tutorial… but it definately is not the way to setup a Moodle PRODUCTION server. So this is for beginners only. And it does assume you want to use WAMP. It won’t help you much if you want to use IIS and/or MSSQL.
